The much anticipated Rugby World Cup (RWC) 2007 has just started...caught the opening match over in national tv at 3am in the morning in malaysia...yawn...kinda early but worth it, the pumas scored a good try and upset the formbook by beating one of the main favs of the tourney, france...
anyway, the following day (or over here in malaysia, it will be wee hours in the morning), the other 3 major favourites all played their respective matches...as expected, the all blacks and the wallabies won their matches convincingly enough...thrashing their opponents mercilessly...hurrah...
but the other fav, england, well, they did managed to beat the yankees, but just "managed"...not a good sign for the english as defending champs...but with wilco coming back for the next match, there might be better sign for the english...
